Becoming a therapist was the answer to 13-year-old Melanie's painful experience in counseling. Upward Roots: Seek Refuge (a retreat center offering intensive experiences to families) was the dream of 20-year-old Melanie that I still believe will be introduced in the near future. Today, I am humbled to be a therapist offering individual and couples counseling at Upward Roots: Relational Therapy. Attachment science tells us necessary relational patterns are changed one person at a time. Additionally, relationship injuries are healed through secure, safe, and connecting relationships.
